Un Coin De Paradis - Lille

On a thursday evening this restaurant/bar was very quiet. as with most restaurants in France the vegetarian option was a fish dish but it was fine, the beef stew, carbonnade flammonde, a local dish was very tasty. creme brulee to finish was also very nice. waiter very friendly and between my broken french and his limited english we got there. €50 for three of us with no drinks

It is next door to the Ibis Hotel so very handy for our first night in Lille. There were very apologetic as a big local event meant they had a very busy evening and had run out of some dishes. We still had a lovely meal of excellent home cooked stews with fries. Friendly helpful staff were a bonus,though their English is limited.

While staying at 2 steps and waiting for the hotel to open its doors, we have scheduled 1 break after our 2 hours drive. Not convinced, but not better. In the end, good service, charming card, we booked for 6:30 in the evening. piece of butcher to mr with pepper sauce torn! For me a very pleasant moment!
