Restaurant La Tradition - Lille

One of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The food was absolutely amazing and staff very polite. Every time I look at the pictures of the food that me and my boyfriend had I shed a little tear, because I live 1200 kms far away from this awesome place and cannot just go there any time I want. My boyfriend is French and lives near Lille, so we're definitely going to be back, this goes without discussion. 10/10.

Finding an open restaurant on a Sunday evening is not the easiest of tasks so we jumped at this one when we saw it was open, and made a reservation. Which in hindsight was a good move as it filled pretty fast to the point where people were being turned away. Which was a pity for them as they missed some great food served by friendly (English speaking) staff. My colleague and I had the poultry puffed pastry thingy as a starter really good. He had the duck as a main course and rated it highly, I had tuna seared to perfection. Generous portions meant no appetite for dessert, shame as they looked good. Wasn't too sure about the digestif at the end of the meal. Not sure what it was but the fumes made my eyeballs weep.

My Husband and I were looking for an evening Meal, when we saw the Restaurant la Tradition, we were quite happy to give a try, as we were disappointed with the Sherlock so we decide to change. The Proprietaire very polite and welcome. We had a very Good Meal, well presented and very good. We will recommend the restaurant to any body and when we are in the area definately we will go back.

Good cooking, and very good caramel salted butter. One of the two nikel waitress, not a head, it's cool.

It is a very good address in this area dominated by bars. the menu is limited, the dishes come out of the ordinary, are tasty and well cooked. It's not the big heart blow, but it's very effective. If we take the full drinks menu at night, it's not given good for quality. on the other hand, good plan on the noon for an entry or flat dessert formula at about 16 euros.
