Le Marche Flottant - Lille

Small restaurant with a nice atmosphere. food was really great but rather expensive. food wasn't much, but just enough.

I only came to the floating market because I had been booked in the hotel of the back street almost in front that has no restaurant, and it was almost the nearest place to eat, but I'm so happy to have done it. the appearance / atmosphere is interesting rather than elegant but the service was impeccable, even for a single female dinner. They have Thai and Laotian food, but according to the photos of the Thai monarchy on the wall, they are authentically Thai. I started with the excellent steam plate - five dim matching sum. In the main dish, I had the thai phad with shrimp, a little lean on shrimp (1-2 more would have been appreciated) but nevertheless delicious. In the interest of empirical research, I then learned about the assorted Thai desserts, all very tasty and interesting. everything was very nice and elegantly presented with lovely and tasty trims. with a bottle full of a good gewurtztraminer and a large bottle of gaseous water, the bill was 51 euros = 38,50 pounds, very reasonable (by standard tuning) with a week in a bee, I will certainly stumble on the road to come back here, and maybe try some of the lao items.

I had a business dinner here last night; very good cuisine and service. the food was fresh and served hot. our server was friendly and helpful, even if he didn't speak English. the menu, however, was in English, so the order was not a problem. Like other restaurants around the corner, it's expensive (30 euros for dinner, beer and yours) but it's worth it.

Hello, my boyfriend and I went to the floating market during our citytrip. there are many choices and the price is correct. It was my first Thai experience and I found it very well! I took an entry and a main dish and my boyfriend took a menu. I recommend taking several dishes, otherwise you may not have the stomach full but for me it was nice to try various dishes. I had a chicken soup with coconut cream and the thai pad. Banana doughnuts are very good too!! only flat: table wine is cheap but not so good as that. I still strongly recommend this Thai restaurant!
