The Old Horn Inn - Leyburn

It has character outside, it needs some tlc inside but the food was excellent, the landlord very friendly and knowledgeable. We (4 of us) ordered fish a chips and Scampi and chips, large portions well cooked and well presented. Oh! And the beer is Wensleydale brewery and I thoroughly recommend The Semer Water ale,

Charming old Yorkshire pub with friendly owners locals. Warm welcome, lovely open fire, cask ales dog friendly. Although we didn't eat, the food looked good, we will definitely return to sample.... it is only a 25min walk from the Lower Wensleydale CAMC site, which is similar to walking into Leyburn.

What a gem. Fabulous small Yorkshire old pub. Great food and even better welcome by landlord and Lexi the dog not to mention the real ales. Will be back.

Absolutely amazing pub!! We were visiting Spennithorne for a weekend and stumbled across this pub. The owners couldn't have been more helpful, lovely, and friendly! The food and drink were delicious! So much so, we went there 2 nights running! If we're ever in the area again we'll be back.

What a great pub, such a friendly welcome for us and the dogs. We were only going to stay for a drink but after looking at the menu decided to stay for dinner (and pudding) really tasty and good value all round. Very good choice of local beers too. Highly recommend a visit.
