It was a lady’s night out for my girl friends and I and first time eating at La Folie. It was outstanding! We had heard mixed reviews about the food but everything we ordered was excellent! We all got there early for Happy Hour (4-6 pm). You can’t beat half price wine and cocktails. Excellent selection too. Then we moved into the dining room (absolutely stunning decor…I heard that Barbara Rickey was the designer). Stunning! We started off with the charcuterie. Loved it! Then many of us started off with either their escargot or French onion soup. I’ve eaten escargot almost my entire life in many NY and Chicago restaurants. Some of the best I’ve ever eaten! Entrees we’re excellent too…Rosemary chicken special and beef bourginion. My friends raved about them. Franc was our waiter. He was outstanding! Helpful, attentive and provided excellent customer service. My only regret, we didn’t leave room dessert and they had profiteroles!
We’ve been wanting to try this new restaurant and finally made a reservation. Food was delicious, server Abby was helpful with recommendations. We defiantly want to come back again.
Not much ambiance. It was very loud and hard to talk. Wait staff took their time. Food was good but for the price should have been fantastic
Exceptional food, atmosphere and SERVICE! John was our waiter and very attentive. They were one server short but everyone there pitched it to make it a great experience! Really well done!
