Starship Bagel - Lewisville

The Millennial Falcon was fantastic. The team members were incredibly attentive, kind and patient. Very helpful explaining everything since it was our first time in. The ingredients they use are clearly fresh and of top quality. The cherry on top, they use Onyx coffee. This is almost always a sign that the owner cares about quality.

So I had the opportunity to experience this bagel shop for the first time. Words can not even begin to express my experience! A lot o people don’t realize that customer service is part of your experience. Are you greeted, engaged, is anyone glad you chose their establishment? I received all of that and more. It’s family owned, bagels are boiled and cream cheese hand made. The closest to a New York bagel without ever leaving Texas. Great, great, job and I love supporting small businesses. I had the lox which was great. The bagels are very much NY style bagel so if you’re craving that this is the place to go. Everything bagel is my go-to for most things. I had that paired with the lox. The coffee is brewed using Onyx beans. It was pretty good and I’m really picky with coffee. The coffee price was on point too, I think about 2.50 for a cup. You can’t beat that with a bagel.

These bagels beat Einstein any day. Plus the variety of spreads are all delicious. I can have the bagel cold with spread and still tastes great.

Best bagels I've had in years! I've been a bagel lover since the 60s. My parents grew up in NY and indoctrinated us at an early age. I worked at Liebowitz Bagels in 73. Over the years I've loved trying out NY style bagels all over the area. I'm not bragging, just saying I've had time to figure out what I like in a great bagel. There have been and still are some really good bagels around and Starship are my favorite I have been several times now and the bagels are consistent. Fresh with a nice vite and chew. The flavor is great; everything bagels are my fave. They make fantastic garden cream cheese loaded with fresh veggies bits. Best I've had since my mom used to make it!
