Contribuiți la feedbackI dropped in today, two of us and found the staff very affable and exceptionally efficient. Great selection of food salads and treats. Something for everyone.Salad was amazing and please try the Chicken and leek pie a prize winner YUMMY! Cannot recommend it enough, so enjoyable and they also cater at Glenveagh Castle. Was a very busy afternoon but not too much for the lovely staff. Bravo. Make it a must go to place for fun for children and everyone, plenty to entertain all.Outside could be cleaner but maybe they were too busy, worth noting though. Noeleen Butler
Thyme Out is a lovely relaxing venue for lunch. The food is so fresh and delicious and the staff are most helpful when making your choice and are so pleasant when serving you both when choosing lunch and bringing it to your table. We are going to make this a regular for lunch and also for coffee and scone or cake.
Being from the town I know most of the places to eat in it, however, today I was pleasantly surprised at this little gem of a coffee shop/tea room. We were out and about today doing a bit and had to swing by Alcorn's gardening centre for a few bits. I always new they had a tea room there, but never felt the need to go. Being a bit hungry we said we would stop and have a light bite. Well we were delighted with the mouth watering (healthy) selection of food on display. We both had coffee which was spot on. I wanted a sausage roll but it turned out it was vegetarian rolls on display. The Lady said it was no problem and would get me what I wanted, but I decided to chance the Veggie option. It was delicious with a side of potato salad and broccoli. She had the chicken and leak pie which was baked to perfection, great fillings incase in a wonderful crispy pastry. Needless to say I can see us becoming regular visitors to this little hide away. Also the price was very reasonable considering the quality and quantity we were served. Someone out there knows what they are doing..
Best place I know to get good coffee, home bake deserts and proper butter pastry pies with quality meat and ingredients. Selection of light snacks and range of salad.
This is still a cosy wee coffee shop attached to Alcorns flower and garden centre in Letterkenny. What I like about this coffee shop is its closeness to the entrance and exits of Letterkenny on the Rathmelton side of town. Handy for someone heading into town for a quit meet up away from the centre. You don't need to be into gardening but it is all the there if you are. The only downside is for Coeliac's. Yes they have those pre-packaged buns that are long life but mostly tasteless. This is hard to take when you can see and smell all the glutenous goodies everyone else is having. Oh well maybe there aren't enough Coeliac'd calling to make it worthwhile to have freshly baked Gluten Free buns. Still a nice warm cosy and friendly spot.
