Buddy's -b-q - Lenoir City

We visited this Buddy’s the afternoon of Saturday 10/14. The person taking our order wasn’t super friendly, but no big deal. I ordered a sandwich with no sauce. When I came to counter to collect our order, I saw sauce on the sandwich. The same person that took my order was standing nearby. I politely told them that I asked for no sauce and I’d really prefer a sandwich that way. They looked at the receipt (which showed sandwich with no sauce), then kind of stood there until another employee walked past them, turned around and said something to the other employee who then laughed, and the person that took my order walked off toward the kitchen. Never spoke to anyone in the kitchen to ask them to make a new sandwich or apologize for the error. I waited about 30 seconds after this interaction and they never said a word to me, so I told them I’d just eat it and took my tray. I figured better to have sauce than someone spit on my food or worse. ‍ My chicken was in two huge chunks and it was really dry (despite having sauce on it) and the fries were definitely not fresh. My husband’s Smokey dog was fine. We usually eat at a different Buddy’s but were on this side of town that day. We won’t be back.

Wrose place ever and nasty plus the staff has no clue of what or who's order and it has gnats flying everywhere. I would not recommend this place

The pulled pork , slaw, green beans with hush puppies and a drink for 2 senoir citizens was a great and very satisfying meal. Great meals less than $17.00. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Recommended dishes: Slaw, Hush Puppies, Pork Dinner, Potato Salad
