Kfc - Lemon Grove

I ordered a 2 pieceBreast wing combo meal. What was delivered wa a a breast wing and a cup of gravy ? no mashed potatoes or a biscuit. So disappointed

Came through their drive-thru twice for school lunch to get their deal of mix 2 for $10; a 2 piece extra crispy chicken with biscuit and a chicken sandwich.Their chicken was so juicy, and the breading of the skin was just right and crisp. I scarfed it down so fast.The chicken sandwich is just delightful as well! The chicken was a good, soft, but crisp crunch, and their sauce was great with every bite.Complete the meal with a large raspberry tea, and you got yourself a fulfilling meal right there!

I liked going because they always serve you well and I loved the food.

This location always mess up with my orders. I ordered there 2 times. Missed items both times. You'd better sit there and count everything before you leave. I will never order there again.

I had a less than desirable experience on Sunday. It all started with the app which was particularly glitchy today. It was slow, had problems accepting my payment and I 'm not sure if it was the app or the store but I was denied my free drumstick. I ordered the 3 pc Big Box with mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw, and the afore mentioned drumstick. I recieved only 2 pc. I talked to the gal at the counter. She gave me one piece and as mentioned before denied me my drumstick, which set the mood for the rest of my meal. I noticed my chicken while rather small was larger than my previous visits. This changed my one star review to the two you now see. The coleslaw tasted as good as usual but seemed to be a bit warm as it it may have sit outside the cooler a little while. It didn 't affect the taste, rather the enjoyment. My mashed potatoes were a tad more runny than usual and tasted ok, just a bit watered down. The gravy wasn 't near as good as I expext KFC gravy to be. Perhaps they were having a bad day. BUT why did they have it on the day I visited? I love KFC, I 've ate it for as long as I can remember and in several different cities and states. I 'm beginning to believe the ones in San Diego County have no respect for the legacy of its founder. Please know that this review is for my last visit only and I know KFC can do better.
