Vocelli Pizza - Leesburg

I have ordered several times on doordash at the Frederick and Leesburg locations. Pizza has been great every time! Good dough, great balance of sauce and cheese and fresh toppings. It?s delicious and have had no problems with the service. Not sure what some of these reviewers are on, but this is the best Pizza I?ve had in the leesburg area.... even better than the beloved Rai?s.

The tomato sauce was perfectly seasoned and with garlic pencils on the side was fantastic. Chicken Veggie Pizza was delicious. The pizza quality was superior with freshly cut tomatoes, green peppers, mushrooms, with halal toppings (Yummy chicken). Tomato sauce was the star of the show! Amazing mix of sauces on pizza. In view of the current Kovid situation, employees wore face mask, gloves and safe distance for personal and customer safety. Friendly staff and appreciate the great customer service.

We ordered pizza and a meatball sub. Food was adequately good.. although pizza dough almost tasted store bought…the meatball sub was nice and hot and had good flavor. Food seemed pretty fresh and tasty … just wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but I’d go back if I was in a hurry…. Food was cooked well and very good value

This is a New Pizza place that has taken over since the old pizza place left. I decided to give them a try. My family and I ordered the Hawaiian Pizza and Wings. The food was pleasant. Knowing that they were new I did not have high hopes. Over all the food was good and will try them again. Things can only get better.

Placed an order online through their website. About 15 minutes later I receive a text saying our order was cancelled. I call the store to ask what was up and the person told me to ignore it and that the order is in preparation. About 5 minutes later they call me back and said they’d give us a free cookie(s) because of the mishap, great. Another 20 minutes go by I call to confirm our order and ask for an update (by now, it’s been over an hour). The person told me that the order was cancelled, after I literally confirmed to ignore that message. The whole situation was very frustrating. They ended up delivering the food but with no compensation to make up for the severe blunder. Also, the pizza was undercooked. Will not use them again.
