Very welcoming staff, who delivered good service. Lovely log fire and nicely decorated for Xmas. Set menu was good value but very limited choices. The quality was good and generous portion sizes. Main menu seemed quite pricey for simple pub grub. Other restaurants nearby offer more interesting food options for the same kind of price. Things have definitely improved here over the last few years. Good food plenty of drink options and finally staff cleaning. Stopped coming here 5 years ago but gave it another chance while passing and I'm glad I did. Massive improvement Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Oh wow , just wow !!!from the moment I stepped foot in to the Fox&Grapes I was blown away , the decor was spectacular, the midas touch and tributes to .....yes our loving companions the loyal friend your dog ! Just the detail of welcoming warmth ,the little quotes above the bar , and that open fire place is breath taking , the cleanliness of the pub was 10/10!! I love that you love dogs it melts my heart . I adore the importance that the staff made us feel ,and the food was yummy ! Hot ,delicious and well worth every penny , I didn't want to leave , your pub made us feel like we were at home , Kudos to everything Nothing beats you . Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
