Cafe W - Leeds

The Costa which used to be here was OK, but this place is so much better. Excellent service, and a good range of drinks, cakes, and snacks, at reasonable prices. Nice location. I enjoyed a great coffee and a delicious vegan brownie here today :

I enjoy escaping to places like this during my lunch break to enjoy a hot cup of coffee and read great books. Out of all the cafes I've been to in Leeds, this one is definitely my favorite. The staff is friendly, the coffee is strong and hot, and the atmosphere is laid-back. I ordered a large americano with milk to go, which was priced at £1.90, a very reasonable price for a cafe in central Leeds. They even offered me the choice of having warm milk, which was a nice touch. My only suggestion would be to try to come before the busy period, which is between 12.30 and 15.30, as seating is limited and the line to order can be long. Overall, a fantastic cafe!

The hot chocolate at this restaurant is delicious, but it was the sincere service that made it taste like the best hot chocolate I have had in years. The small gestures made by the staff to ensure you feel welcomed truly make a significant impact. I will definitely be returning tomorrow.

Lovely café with excellent locally sourced food- a rarity these days! Drinks and cakes are lovely and all of the staff are brilliant. A great place to eat, read and rest.

I'm pretty sure drinking coffee near books makes me smarterer by osmosis so this is a great place to do a little work. A quiet atmosphere, a few plug sockets, free wifi, good (strong) coffee. I've only eaten light bites cake, toasties, etc, but they've all been lovely. Service is pretty quick and when I visit it's been at the beginning or end of the day.
