As a regular visitor, I can confidently say this restaurant serves the best pasta in Lausanne. The fresh pasta is always perfect cooked and bursting with flavor, making each visit a culinary delight. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for 2 or a casual dinner with friends,il ghiotto is perfect choice for those who love great food.

Great Italian restaurant in the old town. A bit hidden, no restaurants or shops close by. Very friendly staff. Nice size portions. My kids were disappointed that there was no pizza but they loved the pasta and the hostess was very accommodating.

The combination of good food, a good spot and good service is very rare but it's the case at Il Ghioto. We had a very nice time here and I recomend this place to everybody.

Stella and her husband, the chef, are amazing the prawn taglietelli was to die for (seriously good! and the salsiccia was fresh and delicious. The special roast beef was lovely too carpaccio style with a gorgeous dressing. Wines really good. Nice setting in a quiet side street and the service was great on a busy evening. Very good value for tourists looking for a central place with excellent food at good prices. Would highly recommend!
