Brasserie Cafe de Paris - Lausanne

Unpolite service and in general bad food! Almost one hour to get food after ordering and service that i though was 1990 just because er spoke English

Enjoyed a great meal and a glass of wine. Very nice place. Good service and u feel welcome every time. Will be back.

I have been there with a guest on a day where the Christmas-market on Place St. François had already started. We had an early start - 18:30 and the restaurant was, not astonished for the time, empty. Unfortunately we had a bad start already as we needed to look for someone to seat and serve us.That evening the restaurant had a 50% discount offer on the meal on a special online booking site. The small salad we received at the beginning was pretty tasteless. The Entrecote, basically the only dish served, either 200g or 300g, was perfectly prepared to the desired grilling point, but the butter “Café de Paris” was not what I am used to. Additionally the hearth to keep the meat warm was set too high and grilled the butter and the meat. All in all, I have known this place for some time, but it has disappointed me quite a bit in service and quality this time.

Very good service, fait and Nice welcome, good entrecôte with good desserts, menu is limited to meat and one salad, but if your intention is to have meat, you are not disappointed, just a pity was no heating due to a technical issue, but nothing to do with the restaurant

Very quick service, staff very friendly. Food was good and the price correct for the area. We had a steak and fries, which was good, but maybe a bit on the small side. The brasserie is a bit hidden behind the bakery in front, so I did not know until now that there was a restaurant back there :)
