Ohana Hawaiian Bbq - Las Vegas

Got the half half combo with mahimahi and bbq beef. Big serving, couldn't finish it all. The mahimahi was big, two big fillets, cooked just right, the panko breading was nice and crispy but a bit salty. The bbq beef was good, the marinade was a little on the weak side but still tasty. It is another Hawaiian bbq joint designed similar to L L Hawaiian BBQ.Parking: Typical shopping plaza parking lot.

Fairly similar to other Hawaiian fast food chains with a larger, more diverse menu.The service was fairly quick, leaving with my order about 10 mins after placing it.I ordered the BBQ Mixed Plate with a side of Spam Masubi. Everything was still hot and fresh after I got home nearly 15 mins later.I would definitely go back to try other options in the future. My only r commendation for improved service would be to remove the giant Covid-era plexiglass partition at the register. The restaurant is generally too loud and the cashier is too quiet to fully understand. Particularly when he is wearing a mask as well.

When I used to work on Boulder highway, used to go this place all the time. I loved getting just the simple teriyaki beef on white rice. I've been thinking about it for a while at work and so drove out of my way to go over and get this from them one day recently. The girl behind the counteracted as if she was better than anyone but I asked her about the beef and rice. She pointed out one thing on the menu and that was not what I was talking about. I ended up finding what I was asking about. I pointed it out to her and she continued to keep pushing the items she was pointing it on the menu. I said no this is what I want and kept pointing at what I wanted. She goes have you ever had whatever the thing was as if she was still trying to push it. I said no I haven't but I want this. I should have walked out then!! She convinced me to get the large one rather than the small one which of course was more money. I bought into what she was saying thinking I could have a little extra later on. When I got it home and open it up, what a disappointment. The amount I got was the same amount I used to get at the lower price. I know prices have gone up but this was ridiculous. The meat had little fat grizzles in it and there was not much teriyaki sauce at all. The rice was okay but it would have been better had it had more sauce! It's my fault as I should have maybe opened up the box before I left but I trusted them because I'd been there before and never had a problem before this time. I did not appreciate the girls attitude. I did not appreciate her acting like I didn't know what I wanted or pushing what she wanted me to get rather than just getting me what I wanted. Again she acted like she was better than anyone. As if she was a hostess at an upper class restaurant... What's this place is far from. I could have gone down the street and around the corner to Genghis grill and gotten much more food for the same price and it would have lasted me three meals. And it would have gotten it the way I wanted it. Based on the girls actions and the horrible food I will never ever go back to this place.

I always enjoyed eating here until today. It had been several months since I had been here. I ordered my usual Spam Fried Rice and Beef Broccoli to go. I was so very disappointed!! The Spam Fried Rice had no flavor except for the spam, and the Beef Broccoli was HORRIBLE!!!! The beef was 100% gristle and looked grayish even with the sauce. Not one piece of it was chewable! I will never go back again. On top of that, I used to pay under $16 for both items. Today. I paid almost $27.
