Tiramisu Funkybar

Celebramos un cumpleaños de una gran amiga. La comida está buena y el servicio inmejorable.

Buen bar en la plaza del pilar para tomar algo. En nuestro caso, fuimos a desayunar, y nos atendieron rápido y con mucha amabilidad pese a ser un grupo grande. La tostada de tiramisú estaba muy buena.

Ubicación excelente. Servicio inmejorable. Ambiente diverso e interesante. Uno de los bares más auténticos de Las Palmas GC.

This bar was about a block from the apartment we had rented, so we decided to check it out. Really friendly local bar (we seemed to be the only tourists) with great live music on Saturday nights. I really have no idea what I ate. The menu was in Spanish only and I decided to be adventurous and just randomly picked an item to try without knowing what it was. What it was is delicious. It was a plate with marinated and thinly sliced cucumber, chopped fresh mushrooms and lots of grated Parmesan cheese served with bread crisps. I'm sure my description doesn't do it justice but it was great. I went back a second time to have it again. My friend had a sort of potato pie that was also amazing. My only regret is that we didn't have time to go back again. Maybe next time!

A decent local spot for breakfast or a home made cake. As it is located close to the main surfing schools, I would especially recommend it for all wanna be surfers who need some quick energy before catching the waves : Looks like the place has many frequent guests, the waiters knew the names of quite a few visitors. And yes, it also has tiramisu on menu.
