I love High Desert. Been coming here for years. Whenever I come back to town I have to come here!Their service is a bit so-so. They tend to focus on the regulars if they're busy. If you can go when they're not busy, it's good service.Unfortunately they just had a fire so I doubt they'll be open for a while. I hope they get it fixed up again and are back in business on no time!

The beer, which is the main character, was top notch. Everything I tasted was delicious, and there were some unique flavors, too! The Black Lager was my favorite. The service was excellent. I visited on a cold day in mid-February with my dog, and the manager set us up outside with a heater, water and a hotdog for my pup, and was great about checking in on us. I definitely recommend a visit of you're into craft beer and a wholesome, humble brewery vibe.
