Einstein Bros. Bagels - Laramie

Good, I mean it's Einstein Bagels so it's usually good. Cafeteria is clean.

This place needs someone over the age of 20 (or someone who acts like it) working there telling people how to do their job. I asked for a sesame bagel and they gave me a everything bagel and then argued with me they didn 't was the exact same thing because sesame seeds are one of the many things on an everything bagel. Like seriously? I can 't eat garlic, everything bagels are covered in it. I 've ordered sesame bagels from this place since summer of 2019 but they tried to then argue that they 've never carried them. Whole thing could 've been avoided if they had told me that they didn 't have sesame when I ordered sesame, but it was made worse by how they handled it after. Also they weren 't wearing masks and you have 4 people working with 2 of them just standing around.

Got a cold egg patty on a cold bagel. Overall would say it tasted like a pizza hot pocket that had been left out for about an hour (which was very offputting for an avocado and egg sandwich). Definitely will not be going back

As a regular customer, I've encountered several issues recently: sometimes hot sandwiches are served cold, and I've received the wrong items on multiple occasions. I understand that supply chain disruptions can cause problems, but that shouldn't justify substituting ingredients without informing customers. In the past month, I’ve received the wrong cheese on my sandwich five times because they were out of the type listed on the menu. Not once was I informed that my order would be different. When I explicitly asked for the cheese that is supposed to come with the sandwich, the staff admitted that it is indeed listed on the menu and that they were making substitutions due to supply issues. This isn’t the only instance of undisclosed ingredient changes I’ve experienced this semester. What really disappointed me today was my shake, which was quite different from what I usually get. Having worked in a shop that specialized in custard shakes and prioritized quality, I have a good understanding of what to expect. The shake I received today only filled about 80% of the cup and was filled with large chunks of ice. I suspect, though I could be mistaken, that the shakes are normally made with ice cream rather than just ice. Regardless of whether this was yet another one of Einstein’s “secret” substitutions, the shake was extremely under-blended and had ice chunks throughout. You shouldn’t have to chew a shake! These experiences have led me to believe—rightly or wrongly—that the staff might be either indifferent about food quality or inadequately trained. It seems that neither the staff nor those training them care enough to address these ongoing issues. In summary, Einstein’s can serve amazing food, but often it’s cold or not what you ordered. The quality is very inconsistent.

The farmhouse breakfast sandwich blows me away every single time!
