Agriturismo Caniloro - LANCIANO

Our group of 6 women went to Caniloro as part of a day tour trip with Italia Sweet Italia (an excellent tour company). We had an amazing day. We had a complete tour of the facility and helped milked the cows and then after, made cheese!! We were then treated to a delicious meal. Everything we consumed (except the coffee) came from the farm or a neighbouring farm. The owner 's ate with us and made us feel like part of their family. I highly recommend going to the farm for the tour or for a meal. I am returning with my family at Christmas and am definitely going to return to Caniloro with them.

A very special agriturisimo. The place is genuine and nearly every piece was repurposed and the family are proud farmers and proprietors. Bernardino took my brother on a tractor ride early in the morning to proudly show him the land and how it's all done. We took a wonderful cooking class with pina. The staff is lovely. They all took time to answer our questions or show us the many things around the farm/area.They have a great backyard area to have dinner under the stars. Well done and authentic. Will come back for sure!

Many appetizers, varied and fantastic. first pasta with lamb ragu. tomato sauce with lamb scent because of the meat I didn't see. Second mixed grill, as we said here half pork steak, a little sausage and lamb. being appetizers so many and long waiting times, you get satiated to the second and therefore does not pay much attention. the high quality of matter, does not eat bad, but my vote does not go beyond the average.

We visited 14 years ago and couldn't wait to come back. We made a booking for a family of 16 and they welcomed us with open arms. We spend about 45 minutes walking around the farm, picking veges, collecting eggs and milling flour in preparation of our lunch. We were shown aspects of the farm and visited all the animals. This farm make everything on site and make a wonderful 6 course lunch based on what they grow. We had food a plenty and couldnt fit another thing in! They also had a beautiful cake for my Mums birthday. What a great experience and even better homemade wine.
