Date night with my son. I asked about the additional sauces and the waitress pointed me to the street tacos. I was eyeing them already and had 4 nicely filled mini barbacoa tacos. My son had chicken enchiladas with red sauce, queso and a chicken quesadilla to go. The waitress, Gaby, was welcoming with a smile. It was my first time at Don Mario’s and we had questions, which she answered with ease. Food arrived within a reasonable time and was quite tasty. The tacos were the best barbacoa I’ve had in a minute. It’s Thursday and the live music from the electric-acoustic guitarist was nice but a little loud. My son is also a musician so we are probably more adaptable to the volume. We did have to raise our voices. This establishment is ideal for large parties and outdoor seating. Nice bar with TVs. Clean and spacious. Plenty of parking. Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Parking: Parking suitable for peak times with spaces for parties. Lots of parking available. Open space. Wheelchair accessibility: Parking upfront. No steps into the restaurant. Spacious interior.

I had a great experience on Sunday so much so that I brought my girlfriend on a date night today, Monday. However, just two days later, my experience was terrible. I was seated outside. The place looked fantastic. Ths queso was good. My girlfriend 's quesadilla was great. However, my order (which had no changes made to it) was missing ingredients, had vastly smaller portions than on Sunday, and none of the salsas that I ordered came out. I could not get the waiter attention and he did not check on our table after the food came out. It was about 15 minutes after our food had come out he came to check on us and had our check in hand. When I told him my food was missing ingredients and things were incorrect all he did was bring out a plate of sauces. He did not offer to correct the order, replace it, or discount it. All he said was, well, we have different cooks every day . I understand having different staff members cooking but recipes and portions should be similar day to day. There shouldn 't be missing ingredients in very simple dishes. This was an incredibly poor experience. It was not worth the price. We spent about $50.
