Winks Grill - LAKE PLACID

This is a great local bowling option! Never felt unsafe here, and it definitely wasn't crowded the night that we went. They leave every other lane closed, and there are plastic shower curtain barricades between every two lanes. In fact, before you choose your ball, they give you plastic gloves for you to test out the balls. And once you choose your ball, you dispose of your glove. Hand sanitizer is available upon request. when you are done with your game, you leave all the balls at the station, and they will come sanitize everything and reset for the next customer. This is a great indoor activity option if the weather isn't good outside for skiing or ice skating.

Rainy day so I wandered in here. Arcade gets 0 stars. Half the games are broken. Ski ball, air hockey, and basketball hoop(twisted to right and no longer rotates) are all in need of service since 1995. Have a room with nice bounce houses but no kids were in there, no adults allowed, and my son didn't want to play alone. The bowling seems decent and is their maker. The bar seemed like it had regulars sitting in there. Tourist trap that hasn't been updated in 15 years
