The Kitchen - Lake Charles

The pork steak, and BBQ chicken were falling off the bone perfect. Rice dressing just as fabulous. Every time I eat there the food quality is perfect. Glad to see as much has changed lately, they have not. Keep it up yall

It Is A Clean Friendly Place, This Was My First Time Going Here. I Had An Okra, Chicken And Sausage Dinner With Potato Salad And A Slice Of Cornbread. It Was Very Good, I Will Definitely Be Coming Back Soon.

Delicious home style southern food and a friendly atmosphere. We went there on Wednesday and ordered fried chicken. It was so good. The chicken was juicy and tender, with extra crispy batter. The sides were very nice too. Definitely try out corn bread dressing. It's one of our favorites.

We just had our first meal from The Kitchen. I had the smothered steak and you can cut it with a plastic fork, yum. The green beans have a spice to them, the green salad is cut into bite size pieces w/tomato and cucumber, and finally the mac and cheese (I wasn't a big fan but the kids loved it). We called early to order for lunch and it was ready on time when I went to pick it up. We will be back. Oh and the corn bread, so soft with that good flavor that leaves wanting more. I gave my cake to the kids so I can't write about that. Thank you Kitchen, for being another GREAT place to eat in Lake Charles.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I had 2 family members went pick up food, they have disabilities, the lady at the counter ask them what facility or they with! Just bcuz someone doesn 't LOOK THE NORM to you, don 't ask no DISRESPECTFUL????like that especially out loud in front everyone! This place will NEVER get my BUSINESS! ITS UNPROFESSIONAL AN VERY HURTFUL
