Sehr gutes und preiswertes englisches Restaurant, eine Reservierung wird empfohlen.Sehr freundliches Personal, das chicken und die Rips waren sehr lecker und das für Euro.Etwas abseits von der Hauptstraße der Altstadt, das macht aber einen Geheimtipp aus.

Just great. Our week even involved sailing with dolphins yet this was still a holiday highlight. I'm home now, but the others plan to go back in the time they have. Food wonderful, we had both chicken and fish. Compliments to the chef. Atmosphere-wise I went back and re-read the reviews out of curiousity afterwards. It is a unique and endearing place and perhaps not one for uptight Manhattan/London/etc types. Very human and kind. I also valued Alfie's expertise on deboning the fish albeit reduced to beginner level for us ; Also a wonderful spot full of history on the old sea wall. I want to go back.

Got there expecting to be sitting inside, but our table was outside as the waiter forgot to move us, that was the first error, drinks order taken 15 mins later, had to remind the waiter about them, was told, to relax, well we would but preferably with a drink! food order taken and the food was okay, not outstanding but okay, we asked for the bill , waited then asked again, then had to ask again, 20 minuets later it arrived, I commented that it shouldn't take 20 mins. and have to be asked for 3 times, once again, was told to relax, well we were, we had been there for two and a half hours relaxing, then the same waiter, said under his breath, that there are plenty of other restaurants in Lagos, well yes there are, and this will not be one of them will will return to, a table of 5 residents, don't forget Arribale, when customers are few and far between in the winter months, we are the people you want through your doors.
