Les Gourmets Hotel Restaurant Traiteur

Home cooked food and very friendly service. The staff is really nice and helpful. We had our four-year-old boy and they looked after him and gave him a tour through the kitchen!!! Oh, yeah. The food and wine were very good.

From the beaten track in Lagord, between La Rochelle and Saint-Xandre, this is a charming little restaurant that offers excellent service and good food. The menu has a good selection of dishes with local products and some with a small twist. A selection of Prix...fixes meals offer particularly good value for money. A good selection of wines, as usual, offered in pleasant surroundings. A hotel is at the restaurant (or the restaurant is connected to the hotel, not sure which). I would highly recommend visiting the area to La Rochelle and stopping here for your meal.
