O Veleiro - Lagoa

Disappointed, the food was ok, just ok, had a lot of better meals this week than the one we had last night in this restaurant. The best word I can use to describe it is soulless. Also €19 for a bottle of red local house wine is ridiculous, not paid anything like that in the other restaurants we have been in. It was also served cooled rather than room temperature.

A reasonable meal, we visited pre-Covid and the menu seemed to have more choice than it does now. Service ok. We turned up on speck on a Thursday and got a table, on the Friday of the following week we had booked and lots of people were being turned away. Enjoyable.

Absolutely disgusting, kids food was inedible, food took way too long, rude staff total disaster from start to finish!

Beautiful lunch and great to see antonio again. cataplana was amazing, full of fish and seafood. large selection of wine, we had an algarve white what was delicious. to next year.
