The Eye Opener Café - Lafayette

Terrible experience. We were received with hostility, the workers were not nice at all. The table next to us came in after us but their order was taken 15 min before ours and by the time our food came they were paying the check. Rude old workers. Waited over an hour for mediocre food. Good thing was it was cheap and larger portions.

First time eating there and we were in the area so we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean. I had a full order of biscuits and gravy with a lemonade. Son ordered a patty melt with fries and the spicy mozzarella sticks with an Arnold Palmer. (Waitress didn't know what it was but did a good job making it. Husband had the all meat omelet white toast, sausage links and Sweet tea. Will definitely go there again.

We had a great breakfast. I had Meme 2's Naptime and really enjoyed it. The gravy and eggs etc. were so good. I also had one pancake and it was very good too.

Had Sunday lunch at Eye Opener, and everything we ordered was DELICIOUS!! I had the BLT, and I don't think I've ever had one better than this! Great service, friendly staff, very good prices, and this place just can't be beat!!

We enjoyed The Eye Opener Cafe. Very friendly! Food portions are big. We took leftovers home. And VERY reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!!!
