Saigon Noodles - Lafayette

I enjoyed visiting Laffy to try their pho. The broth was delicious!

The food was exceptional, the service was excellent, and I am excited to return! This restaurant is truly a hidden gem.

I wish I could only dock them half a star but I obviously don't have that option. I've eaten here many times and have never been disappointed with the food before. This one time was an anomaly. I ordered the duck noodle soup, and to be fair it tasted wonderful. I am dinging them because the cut of duck they used included a lot of bone, probably more than 50% bone and gristle on each chunk. Also, I think they just grabbed a pack of ramen noodles and threw it in to soften but never broke it up or cut it up, so I was left with a nearly solid chunk of very long noodles in the soup, making it a good bit more difficult to eat without making a mess all over the table.

OH. MY. GOSH. We always get the sugarcane shrimp vermicelli bowl and the dumplings. Absolute best food ever
