Tried this place as there wasn't much else to choose from and the reviews were ok: two simple meals; Angus steak and Raclette. Steak was more flat iron and cooked well done when rare was ordered Raclette was dry and tasteless. Nothing to recommend it
We were two people choosing a Raclette traditonelle, 25Euros per person, on the pricey site. The food was little above average. A Raclette traditionelle comes with cold meat (charcuterie), potatoes, and Raclette cheese. Both cheese and potatoes could be ordered in unlimited quantities. However, Raclette cheese is rather tasteless and potatoes are potatoes. After the Raclette we decided to order two 2cl of Genepi, a local schnapps, prix: 4.50Euros 2cl. On the bill suddenly two 4cl of Genepi turned up (8.50Euros each=17Euros). I complained and tried to explain that we had been severed only 2cl. Remarkable in glasses without calibration line!!!!!!! No chance to negotiate because the owner refused to and the waiter was a bit helpless. I think this is not fair and this is a huge rip-off just to add 9Euros to the bill without reward. Hence, we will not return. Final bill came down to 70Euros for two person. 2 Raclette and 2 little Genepi. Poor. The rip-off was equivalent to 14% of the final price (excluding tipps). BAD! Das Raclette fuer 2 Personen war ziemlich teuer mit 25Euro Person. Die Qualität war weniger besser als der Durchschnitt. Leider wird man bei Alkoholika abgezockt. Man bekommt 2cl, muss aber für 4cl bezahlen. Die Gläser haben keinen Eichstrich. Wir haben 67Euro für 2 Personen bezahlt (plus 3 Euro Trinkgeld), die Abzocke betrug 9 Euro, also ca 14% des Gesamtpreises.
A nice but inexperienced waiter, fadasses and ridiculous portions for exorbitant prices, and to end up in beauty, an insensitive patronage to the remarks and much too eager to cash the addition to my taste.Bref, does not become a jailer who wants!Since its buyback, this business has kept the same name and uses the notoriety acquired by its former owner!
Excellent in his category! The setting is very nice (hotly bucolic atmosphere), the open kitchen allows to appreciate the seriousness of the work and the cleanliness of the place. The reception is warm, the professional and attentive service. The tasty and cooked black angus on your request is on the top, the fries are home: what else?The fine apple pie with its vanilla ice ball and nougatine brilliance is tasty. Savoyard specialties look great: I will come back, but accompanied! In short, a solo evening that was announced tristounette and that proved enthusiastic. I highly recommend!
