Very nice food for very surprising price. An assessment says that they do not welcome foreigners, but I guarantee that this is not true. The guy who introduced me this place is a foreigner and doesn't speak any Japanese at all. Very friendly staff.

Cheap-ish beer but you're required to get one appetizer per person. We had a piece of roe sushi and I forget what else but they were pretty bad. Couldn't finish either one

Nice place to enjoy kyoto. The staff is really nice and you can eat Japanese and Kyoto really cheap! The beer is also cheap a really good one! Do not miss this place!!!
