By midnight it is perfect to have a late lunch on a budget. You can order several dishes, usually at 399 ¥ and everything you can drink for soda, coffee and tea. The location is more beautiful than the usual family restaurant, with mock-frescos on the walls and sealing, selling the theme of Italian style dishes such as pizza, pasta and everything you can eat with cheese. The pizza tastes good for the price and the bread rolls are simply delicious. They also offer a variety of desserts as well as wine and beer for a reasonable price. The staff was very friendly and patiently explained all the questions we had on the menu. The pictures male it really easy to order as you get exactly what you see.

Fantastic food, great service, free refills on drinks, popular among tourists and locals, deserves good reputation for freshness and quality ingredients and very affordable prices. It's a chain to look for other places. So much value for so little money. Had pasta, cooked for perfection and wonderful warm Focaccia rolls. My first meal in Kyoto, definitely back.

When traveling in Japan with young kids, sometimes it's nice to go for the easy option. This pla e fits the bill. We ordered a potato gratin for our daughter and som to share and ended up ordering a second as they devoured it. Pizzas are decent, cream corned soup also very yummy and needed to order extra. Tomato mozzarella salad fresh and good. Friendly staff and food came out quick.

My new find. I like the bell system to call waiting staff and relaxed atmosphere. Everything is so reasonably priced but surprisingly tasty. Open until late. Ask for window seat, if you like to feel Kawaramachi high street. Other branch Saiin is good.
