Aloft Hotel Rooftop Bar (Mai Bar) is a friendly bar with an amazing view. Despite reading some not so favourable comments.. I would like to review this place as a Business Traveller. Firstly I do agree that the place is usually empty (I have been here many times) and food is on the pricey side. However this is balanced by the super friendly staff and people there which I believe will make up for this. Food is also average and nothing much to shout about. I had Satay which was really only so so. Well as to the 5 rating... I believe the customer service and staff service really made up for everything negative about the place.. Everyone was so cheerful and friendly. I personally love this place as with most Aloft hotels, it has business travellers in mind. The good: This place even has a smoking zone near the pool.. unlike many hotels. Well that said their sister hotel Le Meridien Sentral also has a smoking zone near the pool. This itself deserves a mention as with many Aloft around Asia, most has smoking zones.

A nice quiet place if you have to kill some time. cocktails taste very good, but contain only little alcohol. pool is only for guests of the hotel. the food was also delicious. free wlan.
