Koloa Shave Ice

The first time I tried shaver ice cream and chose this place based on other reviews. My daughter got Raspberry/Blood Orange and it was good. I chose Guava/Passion Fruit flavors and they were both very strange tasting. Maybe because most of the Guava and passion fruit flavors we are used are fake and these flavors were real. Great service, nice presentation, but the flavors were simply not what I expected.

This is the first time I wanted to slumber all the juice on the bottom of the shaved ice in my life. The aromas taste fresh and fruity and delicious. It is worth walking from the nearby shopping center. You can also buy the bowls separately if you see how cool they are and decide that you want to sneak a souvenir.

Best ice cream in Kauai! We tried some shaved ice places during our stay, but this was the best hands down. The natural syrup flavor here could not beat anywhere else, especially the Guava that you felt like eating the actual fruit on your ice. The price is also reasonable. There might be a waiting time, but it's not too bad and it's totally worth it. The shaved ice cream looks and tastes delicious! Will be one of the first stations next time I am in Kauai!

The best ice cream I had on Kauai! The syrups were simply perfect, not clumpy sweet and you can taste the actual fruit flavors that it is supposed to be. The fruit bits and coconut cream above is the perfect addition. We have our ice cream and souvenir dishes and loved it. The price can be higher than other places, but you can taste the quality, and they are worth every penny. The service was great! Everyone smiles and without us they ask in an additional spoon and straw in each bowl that we had two little children with us. This attention to their customers means they notice and take care of them. I'd be here every day if our hotel is closer and my waist could afford it.

Best Shave Ice in Kauai! We were on vacation and we tried many places, this one had great staff and the flavors are really natural, really amazing. Mango flavor is like you are eating the mango from the tree. It was for sure my favorite place for Shave ice. Stopped there twice in our 6 days vacation.
