We started with a chicken soup which was quite good, setting high expectations for the appetizer. However, the golden fried prawns were disappointing as they were overly greasy. For the main course, we ordered mixed fried rice and a Thai lamb dish. The fried rice was tasty but the lamb was average. I had hoped for a better dining experience given my past visits. There is potential for improvement in this restaurant. I suggest promoting it on a larger scale and focusing on improving the quality of the food to regain its success.

I visited this restaurant last month and thoroughly enjoyed their Chinese cuisine. The lamb dish was particularly delicious and the menu offered a variety of impressive options. The prices were reasonable, making it a good choice for dining out with friends. Overall, it is a great place to enjoy a meal with good company.

China Haus is a classic restaurant in China Town that exudes the traditional charm of the area. However, its popularity seems to be on the decline, as we were the only guests on a Sunday evening. The strong smell upon entering was off-putting, but the shrimp dish was excellent enough for me to order a second serving. Unfortunately, other than the shrimp, the food was not remarkable, with the fried prawns being overly oily. The decor was passable, but overall, the restaurant could use a major overhaul to stay competitive. The staff also seemed to lack motivation. I wouldn't return until significant changes are made.

I ordered food from this restaurant using swiggy app, but i got food from dan sin quin. I failed to understand what exactly happened.One starter, soup, hakka noodle, chicken side dish. The food was good and the quantity was enough for 6 of us.

They are truly an expert of the authentic chinese in kolkata.Trascending from the china town vibes it is clearly one of the best restaurants in tangra.Ambience is of a clean fim light bar which serves good food.Service is prompt, polite n informative.We ordered mixed fried rice, Chicken schezwan curry n chilli pork dry with sweet lime soda.Mixed fried rice was amazing mixed wonderfuly with plenty of pork shreads, chicken shreads, scrambled egg n herbs.Schezwan chicken was good.But the difference maker was the chilli pork.Being a frequent visitor to Machan n Mainland china I hv never tasted pork anywhere near this.For food I strongly recommend this place.
