Currywurst street food in Cologne and so chose this place. Just a simple walk-up with menu board and lots of hot sauces to choose from. He enjoyed it enough and we went on our merry way to explore the rest of Cologne including the Belgisches Viertel (Belgian Quarter).
I happily stumbled across this place while exploring Cologne, and staying in a nearby hotel I often noticed a constant queue emanating from the small stand. This is not fine dining, nor is it a health conscious dining experience. It is, however, authentic, proper and delicious German food. Although the presentation is not so sophisticated, do not be fooled by the plastic forks and polystyrene. In a word; delicious. The brockwurst is cooked fresh and the employees have a tried and tested production line. Customers are invited to witness as the sausage is sent to a device to slice into small pieces, it is sent to the next person who smothers with curry sauce and seasoning. Although there is always a queue, it is very quickly processed so the wait is never long. Tip: Have the right money available. It really is like being at a Lidl Aldi checkout. Also do not leave it too late to visit this takeaway stand they close at 8pm.
Fomos conferir devido as recomendações do tripadvisor, mas não achamos nada de especial. Com tantas ofertas pela cidade desnecessário essa opção.
