Rheinterrasse - Koblenz

A short rain shower forced us to dive in here. 40 mins before any food arrived. All of it was poor, barely edible, and even the sausage and chips was poor when it arrived. Given the place was almost empty and we ordered at 1pm, it is hard to give such a place more than 1 star, and that is for the view of the Rhine. Even for the area, this place is poor and stuck in the 1970s (my wife is German so we travel around the area regularly).

Riding my bike between boat docks for our cruise riverboat when I came upon this spot trailside. What luck! Had a Phils, bratwurst and fries. Set outside in the garden. Great service and delicious food. Wonderful view.

We came across this restaurant on what must be one of their busiest nights of the year for the 'Rhine in Flames'. Despite being very busy we had a really great meal at excellent prices with super service.

On the way next to the Rhine to the beer garden the boats were sitting by, had both very well drunk and meal times. beautiful evening.
