San Tawan - Ko Lanta

One of the best places for simple home-cooked Thai foodin this area. Great flavors, huge portions and ridiculously cheap. Also free rice to all curries, soups and stir fries. A fantastic papaya salad for only 60THB. It takes some time to get the food (as it always does in Thailand... since every dish is made from scratch but the service is friendly. Highly recommended.

This became the place for breakfast and dinner afrer trying various other random places. It serves a ton of dishes, some that we couldn't find at other restaurants. It is cheaper than a lot of places and with better food than where we paid more money for worse food. After a while we just started only coming here plus it was right by our bungalows. I didn't find anything in the dining area to be dirty, never used to the toilet.

Very tasty dishes. Very cheap. Large portions. Probably one of the cheapest places to eat on Koh Lanta. Fast service. Super friendly and helpful staff. Try their family recipe Seafood sauce. It's so tasty. Not too spicy. Definitely worth a visit when you're in Koh Lanta. Highly recommend.
