The White Swan - Kirklees

We were passing through and stopped at the White Swan for lunch. Didn’t look that promising on entering, but the service was great, the gastro pub food was surprisingly good and the portion sizes were generous. worth a visit

Long walk and stumbled on this lovely pub Food was amazing and catered for Our gluten free party member with all the Sunday lunch trimmings. One of the safest pubs we’ve been in so far this summer with regards covid and will return !

First visit back since lock downs, Tripadvisor says only open for delivery and takeaway but it's open for eat in now, so needs updating. The food was excellent, all freshly cooked on the premises and the service was very good, a very pleasant place to eat, probably missed by many as you never really see it advertised and if you pass it just looks like any other pub but the food is really excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you like well cooked food.

Genuinely 5 stars, excellent service, easy to order and the food was superb. Will definitely make another trip here. I am a veggie and extra veg was put on the meal for me mashed potatoe was the best I've ever tasted and veggie gravy too. My partner has turkey which he loved, yorkshires were perfect. Thank you all at the White Swan
