Contribuiți la feedbackThis is my favorite restaurant, but I haven't been here in a while because there is always a long line at the cafe. Today was no different. I wanted to try the turkey and winter vegetable soup, but they had run out. They said we would have to wait a while so we decided to get a hot pork sandwich instead, which was delicious. We then had to wait in line at another counter and then again for hot drinks. We eventually found a table, but most of them had dirty plates on them. I felt sorry for the people still waiting for their meals when we sat down, and they still had not received their food when we left. I just wish they would hire more staff so I could come here more often. It's a shame.
I stopped by this restaurant for lunch and found it to be quiet. I had a meal and a coffee, both of which were good value for the money. It was definitely worth my visit.
We were given a number to display on our table so that our meals could be brought to us. The restaurant was quite busy on this particular visit, and we had difficulty finding a table near the window where my granddaughter likes to watch the traffic and pedestrians below on Ferensway. There was only one table left, with a vinyl seat that was cracked and worn. Despite this, we sat there. Unfortunately, my saucer had a big chip and crack in it, with dirt ingrained in the crack from being used in that state for some time. Despite these minor issues, my granddaughter enjoyed her macaroni cheese and garlic bread, even though it looked a bit congealed when it arrived. However, she accidentally knocked her yogurt off the table and it went everywhere. I tried to clean it up as best as I could with paper napkins, but she was very upset about losing her yogurt. I spoke to a young lady clearing tables and explained the situation, asking if I could buy another yogurt. She kindly gave me one and cleaned up the mess, averting a disaster. I commend her for her cheerful help. Overall, my Panini was okay, and despite the minor mishaps, we plan to visit this restaurant again as it is convenient for us.
Just the job when you are doing some retail therapy, l had the breakfast with toast and a pot of tea. Recharged the batteries for more spending.
Yes- it is self service but i couldn't find the mince pies and staff were so helpful. Cheese scone was alsp delicious. Great coffee. More substantial meals available. All very resonably priced.
