New Great Wall Chinese - Killingworth

The food was delicious, especially the egg rolls. However, the fried rice had a rubbery texture, which likely means it was overcooked. Everything else was fantastic, but I was disappointed that they are still operating in a limited capacity due to COVID-19 and won’t allow indoor dining. Instead, they have set up a box for outdoor dining, and you can’t even sit inside the restaurant! I’m not sure why they haven’t reopened the inside yet. Dining in the car isn't a big deal, but I really hope they move past the COVID restrictions soon, especially since it has been since July 2021!

Nice surprise! The best Chinese food we had in quite a long time. New in the area and for the first time they try. Will go back as long as quality remains so good.

The new owner has really turned Great Wall around. We use to have to drive down to Clinton to get our Chinese food, now I can say I do not have to travel more than three minutes down the road, the food is always ready by the time they say it will be if it isn't sooner. Food is not greasy (sometimes you'll get an egg roll or sweet sour chicken from other restaurants and they are just a grease sponge). Everyone is very courteous and willing to explain what comes in each meal, etc. A very nice Chinese restaurant that I would recommend to anyone especially to North Madison and Killingworth locals!

We were hoping for something better than our usual take out place. This was a little better in some areas. Chicken was over cooked and almost dry. The steak and peppers should have had more steak. Shrimp dishes only had 4 shrimp. But the sauces were better.

Food has been very good. Place is nice and clean with exhaust fans running. Many Chinese restaurants turn off the exhaust fans to save on the heat , a.c and electric bill and the place turns into a grease slick with them off. If there not running the place is sure to be dirty. Food could use some more spice on their spicy dishes . I ordered extra spicy and it still needed more heat. Overall a good place. I drive from North Madison to go there and it's worth the drive. Keep up the good work. Thanks
