Ama And Grill - Kīhei

At Fairmont in Maui we had an absolutely wonderful experience in the Ama Bar and Grill. Nick and Noel were behind the bar and served us amazing cocktails and we also had a great lunch of fish tacos and burgers. The location was great- with a view of the pool part of the bar is a floating bar) and the food was favorable for Hawaii) and a good quality, but what we most stood was the way that Nick and Noel felt super welcome and pampered, but in a cool and relaxed way. They embody the Aloha Spirit and strengthened us that Fairmont does it right. We are sold on this hotel chain based on the experiences we had on the Maui and Big Island Fairmont Resorts due to the excellent staff.

First place we had drinks and food when we arrived at Fairmont Kea Lani. The drinks were refreshing and delicious, as well as delicious food. The prices were decent for everything we got. Nice view too!

Poke was brown $25) and had to be returned. Cocktails seemed premixed $18). Shrimp had mistakes. most expensive and worst meal you could find on Maui. They reimbursed the poke and shrimp, so 2 stars instead of 1. Server was great, she only had to deal with bad food.

What a beautiful location the food was spectacular and the service was so amazing. Everyone there was so pleasant and so helpful, but our most important waitress was Kayla and she sure gave us such a wonderful experience. Best service I've experienced in the 2 weeks. Her customer service was impressive and I saw her really hectic for all her customers and boy she was busy, but she really took care of us. Thank you. Ama Bar for your hospitality. Poolside or swim-up, service is attentive and timely. We enjoyed cocktails that were on and off the menu and loved the food offerings for lunch by the pool. Don?t miss the Maui Brew Co. seltzer they have on tap!
