Contribuiți la feedbackLooking for a petty-bourgeois restaurant we remembered the Zass Das Schnitzelhaus No.1 . The Zass was a very large and very well visited restaurant with family-friendly prices and a map that has something to offer for every bourgeois palate. The focus is on carvings available in countless variations of turkey and pig as well as in XXL. But also friends of steaks, pasta dishes, fish and oven potatoes are at their expense. Also the dishes for children are not missing. From the hungry walk we arrive to the restaurant on Sunday afternoon, which offers a warm kitchen. An employee warmly welcomes us. A good start. Since I asked for a phone call in the evening, I know that there is a calmer phase between 15:00 and 17:00 and we can choose the table as far as possible. There are already some tables reserved, but we find another table in the window. After a short time, an employee with the cards appears and I order a Holsteiner Schnitzel with roast potatoes and salad. There is a salad bar that gives a good impression. Everything is fresh, the pots with the dressing are clean and there are croûtons and chopped parsley to sprinkle in extra bowls. We don't have to wait long for the dishes. My Holsteiner Schnitzel consists of two larger carvings with a mirror egg and a small colorful salad decoration. There is a bowl with hearty roast potatoes. The Savengers are plentiful and quite good of taste, but the panade is a bit too firm to me, so here the usual fluffy wave formation does not occur. The roast potatoes are hearty with bacon and overall I am very satisfied, especially as I pay €6.90 for my carving with salad from the salad bar. However, beverage prices are slightly above average at € 3.10 for 0.4l. Alsterwasser (Radler) for local conditions. In summary, there is nothing against further visits. The foods have a more than very good price-performance ratio. Staff are unprecedentedly friendly, asking for drinks wishes and satisfaction. The restaurant and sanitary facilities are clean. All right. I strongly recommend a call or a reservation. When we go, the restaurant fills peu à peu. In addition, families and club parties are welcome, so that you are always on the safe side with a call.
