Donut Gallery Diner - Key Biscayne

This place is great. The woman who runs it is very nice. The food is good. My only grip is that it's a bit too expensive, but I think that's what you can expect from Key Biscayne.

Small, counter reading that becomes too rare. Ultra friendly, simple farewell and let me miss this kind of diner I would go with my grandpa.

The food was good as the service. My wife, son and I went to Donut Gallery Diner and Lori for breakfast. She was very friendly and attentive.

Simple small old school diner. Good service and food. Blueberry pancakes were good.

The experience was a throw back in time, sitting at formica counters on round rotating stools, ordering bkfst to a waitress in unifirm...definitely worthy of their 50th Anniversary logos pasted all over the ceilings and walls. The portion of the food was huge, especially the pancakes. The steak and grill onions were delicious, and my eggs and sausage patties were exactly what one would expect of a diner. The onion rings were ? amazing ?!! Probably the best I've had in many years, worthy of an additional side order to go. The pancakes were thick, fluffy and huge. But their bacon tasted of stale oil, and the hash browns were soggy. I wouldve given this place a 4* had our $28 bkfst bill not turned into $37 because of the $3 surcharge for using creditcard, and the 18% tip calculated based on bill+tax+surcharge !! If I come back next time, will just get takeout onionrings and pay with ???
