Kefalos - Kefalonia

It is not where it should be. needs to be updated if they are looking for kefalos on google, it is quite somewhere else I am not even sure if it is the same restaurant.

We were recommended to visit by a friend who was supported by the vegan guys. it is a traditional tavern served the usual Greek dishes, some of which are vegan as well as other workers were happy, veganize. the employees all understood what a vegan is and were very accommodating. it was quite early so we served a selection of starters tapas style. the fried courgettes may sound simply, but they were beautiful! and the thymian and garlic mushrooms in white wine are one. we found kefalonia as a whole was very vegetarian friendly, but many places were unclear what a vegan is, so it was nice to find somewhere that understood and were so friendly and accommodating. the food was nice and we would go back if we were to visit the island again.

The staff at this restaurant were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about vegan options. They were able to point out items on the menu and suggest alternatives. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were reasonable. Update from a previous review on January 8th, 2024.

I decided to try this restaurant based on online reviews. We started with the hummus and stuffed vine leaves appetizers. For our main course, we ordered the stuffed peppers and tomatoes, as well as a pasta dish. Unfortunately, both dishes were underwhelming. The staff also appeared to be unhappy. I do not plan on visiting this restaurant again.

The location of the restaurant is incorrect and needs to be updated. When searching for Kefalos on Google, it shows a different location which makes me question if it's the same restaurant.
