Smashburger - Katy

I placed an order from Smashburg through UberEats, and I got the mushroom tails burger along with some Smashfries. Unfortunately, I’ve never experienced food poisoning like this before—I was up all night feeling awful. To add to the disappointment, they also forgot to include my drink, but that's minor compared to the severe illness I ended up with. I highly recommend steering clear of this place!

I visited a restaurant where the cashier was unhelpful when I asked reasonable questions about my incorrectly prepared order. I should have just walked out, as things only went downhill from there. I placed my order, and it took them 30 minutes to prepare a simple meal for two. To make matters worse, they prepared the fries in advance, before the burgers were ready (there’s a heat lamp for a reason!). You can imagine my disappointment when I got home (a quick 2-minute drive) to find the fries cold and soggy. This review only receives two stars because they managed to get the order itself correct. I feel frustrated about spending $20 and being only 50% satisfied, at best.

The restaurant is very clean. When you order a burger to go, it's common for it to get a bit messy when you eat it at home, but that's not an issue here.

Burgers and fries are good! I always get mine to go! Friendly staff the last time I went.

Went for the first time to a Smashburger here and the employee who took our orders didn?t greet us or even respond when I said ?Hi? first. Later same employee did not respond when I said ?Thank You? for our meal. We were the only customers there at the time. The meal we ordered consisted of two shakes and two single burgers and a shared order of fries which came up to $28. I could have gone anywhere else for less in order to be treated rudely by the order taker. Later this same employee was yelling at the people in back that she didn?t know where things were and it was extremely awkward. I saw her yelling at the people in the back as she was facing a new customer and I don?t understand how that individual is allowed to be the one taking orders. You can go to chick fil a or McDonald?s or basically anywhere else and find better customer service for less cost. One and done for us with Smashburger.
