Avenue Pub Downtown Tuscaloosa

I’ve only experienced to go during lunch hours, but the staff is always so inviting and professional! The fish n chips NEVER disappoints!!

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Avenue Pub. Fried green tomatoes are one of our favorites and haven’t found a great one since a restaurant in West Hartford, Ct. Avenue Pub fried them perfectly and they were thick. The pimento cheese paired perfectly and the sauce on the side was a great blend of spicy and sweet. The chicken club is not your typical club but the sandwich was big and the flavors were good. The fish and chips were battered in a local beer. The taste of the beer came through without overpowering the fish. We even used the sauce left from the tomatoes to dip fries in. The prices might look a little high but do not let that deter you. There was a lot of food for the money. We will definitely be back when in Tuscaloosa. I hope the serving size stays the same because it was the best value of any place we have been in Tuscaloosa.

Stopped in for lunch while in town visiting the campus. Ordered the steak sandwich and the chicken sandwich . Both were delicious. Our server was very friendly and there when you needed her. Definitely recommend!

We just celebrated our 32nd anniversary at the Avenue Pub location on Rice Mine Rd. We sat in the bar area, which is our preference. Averi was our bartender and waitress...she was so attentive and fun! She made sure our celebration with our two daughters was perfect. Food was great as was the relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Averi for making our day even mor special!!

The new location downtown is great and has cut the wait time waaaaay down. Great food, quick service, and plenty of seating. We went on Easter Sunday for brunch and had no wait, which was great.
