The Tavern - Karlin

Well I liked the burger it was quite good , I really enjoyed it , however I feel it’s a bit overpriced there, but it will definitely be tasty!

The best burger! The absolute best service in Prague! It has a cozy feel to it, with a super friendly ambiance. and that burger patty is memorable!

Decor/Ambience:(3/5) This place has a cave like inside setting completed with brick walls and a nice bar, in addition to a lovely outdoors seating. The only problem is that the area is a bit tight and you feel squeezed whilst you enjoy your meal. Service:(3/5) The staff were friendly and helpful, but the place is understaffed as 3 servers had to cater for more than 50 people! Food: (3.75/5) I tried the bacon cheese burger and the chili cheese fries. The burger was very well prepared and the beef tasted fresh and delectable! Even though the bacon was not as crispy as i expected. Moreover the chili cheese fries were great and the chili tastes freshly prepared. Price/Value:(3/5) At 190ck 7$ the food is reasonably priced and the value to your money is well thought off. However, it was disappointing that the burger is not served with fries and you would have to order those extra.

The tavern is a small place with what we would call soul food in the south. It 's always got some very special special and it 's completely unique in Prague. If you 're from the US, you should definitely stop by and if you 're not from the US, you should go try something new. It is pricey compared to what you get, but worth it every month or so.

If you 're hungry and you know, you definitely want to get yourself a burger at the Tavern. Although my favorite burger place in Prague is Cafe Palanda, the Tavern comes close to home. Friendly staff, tasty burgers what more can you ask for? I was also pleasantly surprised that they had shirley temple as one of their drinks bringing back good childhood memories : as the sign says, Make peace, love burgers. Will surely come back to try the other burger choices! P.s. The Tavern doesn 't take reservations on certain days unless you 're a big group.. However they still try to accommodate everyone.
