Alejandro's - Kansas

Wanted to try something different and was driving to Ulysses already. Had been several years since have eaten here so decided to try Alejandro's again. We were seated almost immediately and drink orders taken. The menu has become more slimmed down options and a little on the higher side but with supply cost increasing not surprising. Food was okay. Stood in line for an hour. Didn't mind it since it was at graduation time. The problem came when we were at the front of the line and others behind us were seated first. I quote the owner. We have to be fair. So we waited another 20 minutes in line. Half of our party left. So to be fair. I won't return.

So so place nothing special. Will only serve what they think you can pay for. Not so good service. Insulting.

Great restaurant with a some innovative items on the menu. For example, the “Down the hatch” burger is excellent!

The place was half full and it took over an hour to get our order. Three other parties who were sat after us received their meals and left before we were served. Wait staff was inadequate. Food was good but $70 for a family of four and an annoyingly long wait will most likely keep us from going back any time soon.
