Chips so fresh they were still sizzling when the basket was placed on our table. Raspberry margarita balanced so the flavor didn't override the alcohol. The food itself was delicious and filling. The service fast and friendly.

Any place that has been in business over 70 years is going to be good. I have been eating here for half of that and am never disappointed. Staff is so friendly and attentive. Best deep fried tacos in town! You won't leave here hungry

I used to go here with my parents as a child, and We went back recently for my dads birthday. I am now vegetarian. I tried the fried bean tacos, the bean burrito spread with no meat, and the bean tostada. I was happy with the flavor; The bean tacos were better than I remember from when I last ordered them last (maybe 5-10 years ago lol . My father ordered the combo plate that his family always got when he was a child. My parents said everything tasted great, noting that it was better than the last few times they went here (suggesting that there was a brief period of time where the food didn’t taste as great, perhaps to keep prices down?? . They said they will be coming back more often again due to the good experience. The salsa tasted great! Everything tasted authentic too, which is what I love best about this place. We Also had the strawberry and mango magaritas at our table which were excellent.

The food still tastes awesome, and I've always loved the chips here. Always fresh with great sauce however the prices have gone up to a point that it's hard for me to recommend for a family to go here. You're going to have to take out a loan. I absolutely love the place but those tacos are pretty small to be charging what they charge. Dinner for two people should not be over $40 at this place. Come on guys.

Great Mexican food right off of Broadway. The price is low in comparison to some of the other places you’ll find downtown. The scene is nice inside, and the tv’s give it a little bit of that “bar grill” type feel without being in your face. The kids menu is one of the best I’ve seen in KC thus far. Always super friendly staff, haven’t had a bad trip yet.
