In the battle of chicken sandwich wars, The Bird wins.I get the fried chicken sandwich or naked bird if I'm trying to feel healthy. The chicken is always crunchy even during the lunch rush where the lines go out the door. The sauce is quite unique. It's a bit like a Nashville hot chicken sauce, but less acidic/spicy and more earthy and depth.

When someone mentions Fried Chicken Sandwiches, I can't help but think of The Bird.Tried and true, I have yet to have a bad experience here. I usually get the FCS (always crispy, juicy, and flavorful) but I've enjoyed the apple fritters, fries, and wings just as much. Wish they served FCS sliders!

The Bird is one of my boyfriend's and my favorite restaurants. We love chicken sandos, and have had a lot of really good ones but The Bird rivals them all. We usually get a Spicy Chicken Sandwich each, then split a Naked Bird. I really enjoy this sandwich, because it's a pretty decent piece of meat, fried perfectly, and the cole slaw adds the perfect crunch/texture to the meal. 10/10!
