Fire Wings Chatsworth

1st time there food was delicious. Ordered 1/2 dragon parm flavor wings.

The food is always great, but we've had multiple instances where items are missing from our order. We usually just let it go, unfortunately we needed these wings for a large group of people. We called and were told we could pick up the remake in 20 mins. Arrived 20 minutes later only to find the order was never remade. Had to wait an additional 10 minutes. Again, great food, subpar service. Also, one of the cashiers was wearing socks with sandals. I know it's just a restaurant, but presentation goes a long way. I appreciate the other cashier issuing a credit for future visits. Brings this review from 1 star, to 3.

Use to come here often...half of the family enjoys boneless the other bone in. The food was hot we really enjoyed this spot, versus other wing locations in the area. HOWEVER, just came in today seems like they changed owners. The boneless wings had NO meat what so ever. Very disappointed. Don't recommend boneless. I mention to staff, and it seem like they changed supplier.

Finally got to try this place a few weeks ago but forgot to take a pic of my lemon pepper bone in wings! By far the BEST I've had and wanted to get more the next day! My friend got the jerk wings which was my first time trying that flavor and it was fantastic. Reminded me of Taiwanese popcorn chicken at boba shops!We ordered delivery but everything came out great! Got it for lunch again today but they didn't have the lemon pepper as a seasoning option which I was bummed about. Maybe they were out for whatever reason so I ended up getting to try their southern bbq chicken fries and oh my god was it fantastic. Super saucy and not overpowering of a bbq taste! It was on the sweeter side but absolutely delicious! I wish I got a side of extra sauce so that I can drizzle it on the bottom of the fries but regardless, amazing. I 'm going to give this place a review of absolutely excellent but for one thing. The service is great. It 's friendly, helpful, and prompt. The atmosphere is exactly what I look for in a place like this (great seating, clean, well-lit, great bathrooms, plenty of sports on t.v., lots of napkins and those wet-naps, family friendly). The ingredients (the wings themselves, the sauces, the dips) are top notch (not always the case even at places that specialize in wings). I have told quite a few people about this location and they 've always been happy I turned them on to it.Up until a few months ago, I 'd have given it five stars, because up until a few months ago, the wings were cooked perfectly every single time.The thing about wings (and you can tell I 'm a huge fan of wings) is that almost everyone agrees that they 're at their best with crisp skin and moist meat. There may be *some* people who disagree, but not many. And it 's difficult. You need to cook the wings at a high enough temperature and for long enough that you get that crispy skin but not so high a temperature or for so long that the meat gets dried out.As a result, if the cook don 't get it just right, the wings either get burnt (in which case they 're probably thrown out except at certain bars as it approaches closing time) or are have rubbery skin (and, more rarely, slightly underdone meat). So, what most places do is err on the slightly underdone side.I get it. It 's difficult.As I said, up until a few months ago, I 'd have given the place five stars. Literally, every single time I went in, the skin was perfect, the meat was perfect. EVERY TIME. Even my favorite fried chicken places didn 't have that track record of excellence.But recently (three times in a row), the wings have been in that slightly underdone category. In most places (including wing places that are much closer but which I avoid), the wings would be above average. But, as I said, I avoid those places. These last three times, the wings have certainly been good. And maybe it 's not fair, but when you 're that exceptional for so long, your customers have a reasonable expectation that you will continue with it. And they obviously can. So, I hope they do. I will gladly delete this review and replace it with a (well-deserved) review (one which I should have posted earlier) when that happens.
